I’m full “Asian”: half Hong Kong-ese and half Singaporean, but me and my siblings get that “are you mixed?” thing all the time. Someone once even asked me if I was part TIBETAN ? Pretty sure they didn’t even know where Tibet was nor what Tibetans look like. My brother often gets asked if he’s half African-American too lol….so random! Actually my bf is half Caucasian (his long-time ago relatives are German supposedly) and half Columbian :D
